Rant below. Warning for language (and rage).

Today is the 8th anniversary of getting together with my partner, so we both took the day off from work and made plans. Let’s see what’s happened so far:

- I got woken up at 4 am by my work, calling to say that we couldn’t access a vehicle because an employee took the keys home. Employee then refused to answer the phone. Fine, it screws up all the shit I arranged to happen today, but I’ll deal with it tomorrow. Could not go back to sleep.

- A few minutes ago my partner’s assistant manager calls in, 15 minutes before she’s supposed to be at the store to open for him to tell him she’s calling in. So he just left for work.

FUCK. FUCK THESE FUCKING SELFISH ASSHOLES IN THE ASS WITH A RUSTY FUCKING RAKE.

I’m so tired of this shit. He hates his company and has been trying like hell to find a new job and no one will even give him a call back. He’s got a huge amount of managerial experience (15 years+) and is a fantastic manager. When he does get an offer it’s beyond insulting, like the time he applied for a management position at a store and they offered him a minimum-wage sales associate job. The one time he had a decent prospect and was supposed to go in to shadow a manager to see if the fit was right, one of his worthless piece-of-shit employees pulled a no-call no-show and fucked him over.

I’m going for a short drive to cool off. I’m tired of this BS.

Yeah, that is almost as hard as finding an employer worth a damn. Some people are just shit and shit workers. We have that problem here with employees. They never quite stack up to the people they are replacing.
